How to get to us

 

•  From Port Elizabeth take the R335 through Addo - over the railway line. First left onto R336 to Kirkwood . Just past Sunland over the Sundays River, we are situated on the right hand site. [40 minutes]

•  From Kirkwood take the R336. Go straight threw to Sunland, turn left at the Kelvin Grove sign.  [15 minutes]

•  From Cradock take the N10 to Paterson . Turn right onto R342. Pass entrance to Addo Elephant Park . Turn right onto R336. Just past Sunland over the Sundays River, we are situated on the right hand site.  [2  1/2 hours]

Kelvin Grove  is situated in the heart of the beautiful Sundays River Valley only 65 km from Port-Elizabeth and 20km from the Addo National Elephant Park. The accessibility to this area, coupled with close proxiouty to the Garden Route & Cape Town, makes the Addo Elephant Park and its surrounding areas an extremely desirable that is already very popular with international visitors. The Sundays River Valley is world famous for it citrus fruit production and is reputed to produce some of the finest quality lemons in the world. Kelvin Grove is one of the oldest homesteads in the Valley and is surrounded by 16000 citrus trees. Your Host, Charles, is the new owner of this Guest House and offers you a visit of a lifetime

Indalo River Camp

 

The Sundays River runs through our farm therefore nature lovers will enjoy our self catering timber cabins which are situated on the river bank.

Each wooden cabin can sleep six people and has its own bathroom. The deck of the chalet protrudes over the river and is magnificent for bird watching or simply relaxing.

For those that are early risers, otters come out to play at sunrise and offer plenty of amusements.

There is one fully equipped communal kitchen, and the is no electricity, gas lamps and stoves are supplied. Activities include fishing, swimming, hiking and canoeing - or simple relaxation for the less adventurous !
